Kicks?

Time for a post-weekend update...

I grew again...

Tried to put on a pair of shorts I wore about 3-4 weeks ago. No way - the button was about 2" apart. I hope that after the birth, I'll be able to wear "normal" clothes again.

The car seats and two extra bases we ordered last weekend came in - so we picked them up on
Saturday. On one level I know this pregnancy is real, yet on another I feel like I am living in a fairy tale and one day I'll wake up in a poof of smoke and be taken back to my "real" life.

This weekend, I definitely started feeling something that I'd describe as a cross between butterflies, gas bubbles and twitches. I hope these are the babies moving...but could be indigestion too. Next OB / ultrasound appt is on Friday, so
I guess we'll confirm then.

Hey IVFlyGirl -
I was looking at a post on Iveta's blog about nutrition during IVF. Yesterday a friend (who is wary of western medicine) proclaimed I need to go gluten-free because all her acupuncturists, naturapaths and shamans told her to get off gluten when trying to concieve. And now she is pushing this onto me. I do not have celiac disease. But then a small part of me is like what is she is right. Ugh! I just read where you got pregnant and you were not avoiding gluten, so I just don't think this theory of hers holds up. I already have enough restrictions right now, I don't think I can handle another one:) Hope you are having a good day - so exciting you have your carseats!
